John Anthony Puller was a Genre and Landscape painter. He was born in 1799 at Bethnal Green, London.
Many of the small oval paintings by Puller were the subjects of the prints produced by George Baxter and Le Blond.
A total of 43 paintings were exhibited at the Royal Academy, the first at the young age of 22 in 1821.
Puller also exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists from 1825 -1867 a total of 82 paintings.
The work of Puller is represented at: Brighton and Hove museums.
